The average temperature of the earth has been increased 0.5˚C for past 30 years. The researcher says it will increase 0.5˚C more by 2020.
Following the weather research center in Korea, the average temperature of Korea has been increased 1.5˚C during last 100 years. Because of the global warming, Korea has many problems in health, forests, ocean, natural disaster, farming and so on. For this reason the Korea Federation Environment Movement (KFEM) the biggest NGO in Korea, has been campaigned to decrease the environment temperature by 1.5˚C.
‘-1.5’ , is a campaign introduced by Hyaemin Oh to communicate KFEM’s message. The design activity was conducted with meeting average people in the street to have a short interview survey the asked them to pose for picture taking. Images were used as a main visual element for the layout of a poster. Its message, ‘1.5 campaign’, is everyone’s concern.

Process

1.A campaigner meets a person (or people) at the various places.
2.Ask about meaning of ‘-1.5’piket.
3.The subject(s) writes the answer on the interview sheet.
4.The campaigner explains about the true meaning of ‘-1.5’.
5.The subject(s) promises what they will help to decreasing temperature.

6.Take some photos with the ‘1.5’piket.
7.Writes their impression about the campaign participation.
